Spend the Night

Sam had his first "friend" spend the night company this weekend. (Sam and Landon became great friends in first grade.) They hung out - jamming to music, playing with the itouch, WII games, and even at 7:30 Saturday morning they were outside hitting golf balls!! They are already planning the next spend the night get together.

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

Penny's class is finishing up the letter "T" this week - so that needed a celebration with a Teddy Bear and Tea Party. They had to bring their favorite bear for lots of bear games!!! I think she had so much FUN!!

Happy Birthday Nana!!

We celebrated her special day on Sunday with a surprise party!!

(not so sure why this picture is so blurry- I do remember Penny, Sam, and Put jumping out and yelling SURPRISE!!)

We had several of her friends come and share in this day

along with our whole family.

Way to Go Boys!!

Last Monday night Sam had his first homerun (maybe we should call it an error homerun) but a homerun is a homerun in the book!! Good Job -Sam!!


On Saturday, Shawn (and the rest of the running group) ran the Rib Run. It is a 5k- and Shawn had a PR!! He also came in 2nd place in his age group (David was first)!! Good Job- Daddy!!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day weekend had lots going on - birthday party, golf, football watching, baseball game...

Penny got invited to a really fun birthday party for her friend, Frances. It was a cheerleader party. They even had "real" cheerleaders to teach the girls a few cheers and dances. (Penny was pretty happy cause she already knew most of the things that the cheerleaders taught).

This is the weekend for the past four years that Shawn has been involved in a golf tournament -

He is a member of the Europeans- vs. Americans.

(Sam thought this shirt was so funny- never could make him understand Europeans (Your-a-pee-an)

Shawn played great this whole weekend.

Even though the Euro's lost (10 1/2 to 9 1/2) it was a great tournament-

We also headed to Sam's baseball game to finish up the weekend!! He is really playing great in the field. His positions are short, second base, pitcher, left/right field. At this game he threw a ball from outfield to catcher (Bump) and they connected to make an OUT!! Great job- Sam.

Painting Party

This past weekend Sam and Penny helped their cousin, Patton, celebrate his 11th birthday.

Patton loves to paint- so his party was held at Memi's Pottery

This was a really fun party- and I have to say it was by FAR the quietest 11 year old party I have ever attended!! Happy Birthday, Patton!!
