Meet the Duggars

Jordan is obsessed with the Duggars and when she found out they were coming near us she put a call into her step-mom (me) and did LOTS of begging. Little did she know that I really like watching the show 19 Kids and Counting myself so it was not much of a twist my arm to get me to go. We went early hoping to get a good seat, little did we know that we would walk right in and get second row seat. (She was beside herself with JOY) I think the pictures say it all- she had a great time and meet her "Favorite" Duggar. We had a great time together!!

Remembering Papa Birthday

Today would have been Papa's birthday ... to honor his day we put a beautiful arrangement in the church foyer in memory of him

Nursery Rhyme Day

Three Blind Mice, Three Blind Mice,

See how they run, See how they run.

They all ran after the farmer's wife,

Who cut off their tails with a carving knife,

Did you ever see such a thing in your life,

As three blind mice?

Penny, Maggie, and Zoe- The Three Blind Mice!!

Celebrating with Nana

Happy Birthday to Nana- we knew this would be a very hard day for her so Penny, Sam, and I spent the night so we could wake up and give her lots of birthday hugs.. and support. Her closest friends also wanted to do something special for her today.. I went with her to enjoy this lunch and it was very yummy!!

Curls and a Tooth

It was picture day for Penny- she wanted to look super cute so we rolled her hair with pink sponge rollers.. it turned out Curly!!

After school her tooth was really bothering her (it was actually black) so we went straight to Nana's house to get her advice about the tooth. Nana just decided to give it a PuLLL... and pop the tooth is out!!Penny was super excited and could not wait to go home and show Sam and Daddy what Nana just did.

She could not wait to put her tooth under her pillow and see what the tooth fairy brings..

She brought good money for the first one- $10.00!!

Nana and I have been visiting Papa's grave several times a week before we go exercise. She felt it needed a little "fall" added to the other greener that was already there so we went to Hobby Lobby and found the perfect touch.. It looked great
