Once again it is time for Baseball season!! Sam is playing Minor B for the second year. He was chosen to be on Coach John and Coach Tom's team- Cubs.
(yes that was Sam's team last year)
This weekend Opening Day festivities got underway around 9am,
with a parade down the street
(where Penny loves trying to catch all that candy)
into the ball field where each team is introduced.

Here comes the Cubs!!
After the opening ceremonies we all came home to get ready to go back out to the ball field for the Cubs first game of the season (this game does not count on our regular season)
Sam up to bat-
and playing short stop in the game.
He had a great first game.
Our Cubs lost 13-5, although we are very young and still learning - (only Sam and Jackson are returning from last year).
