Sad Ending to a Day
Sam's birthday started out to be such a great day and he had been looking forward to his swimming birthday party for the last few weeks. We were having the party at the country club for all his friends in his class. What was suppose to be a great party for all to enjoy the last day of school and Sam's special day turned bad within a few short minuets of his party starting. One of Sam's truly best pals, Noah Gentry drowned after swimming in the pool for less than 15 minuets of arriving at the party. 911 was called and several of the mothers, lifeguards, and golfers tried all they could do- prayers were sent out all over the city. For Sam and the other kids at the party the moms tried so hard to keep it as normal as a party should be, they gathered the kids for presents and cookie cake (for this I will be forever grateful to you all). Sam and the other kids knew something was wrong with Noah, but to them they thought he would be better. I have never felt so much grief for someone and their family that I didn't even know (before this happened)- only from Sam talking about him being his buddy. Noah will be missed and will always remain in our heart and NEVER be forgotten. *Please keep this family in your prayers*
